The YareCAST offering is built around Google’s Chromecast product, a small but powerful dongle that plugs into a high definition TV. The devices are widely available at most large electronics retailers. Google’s $35 Chromecast streaming stick experienced a 50% jump in users in 2015, representing 35% of the market.

This is a very cool technology that allows users to access a video on their mobile phone, tablet or PC and “cast” it to a large screen TV. Once the video is cast, the device is free to execute other tasks. Formerly only the major players like Netflix, HBO, NFL, and Hulu offered casting capabilities. YareCAST has lowered the barrier to entry making the large screen experience available to niche sports, entertainment, media and enterprise organizations by offering cost-effective application interfaces, transcoding processes and worldwide distribution networks.
